Mocht je wat vaker tv kijken dan zal je vast het Britse programma RobotWars ooit eens gezien hebben. In deze tv-show nemen zelfgemaakte robots het tegen elkaar op in een stijd van blikschade en kortsluiting.

GameSpy besprak het spel RoboForge, waar je zelf robots kan maken en elkaar kan laten bevechten. Elk van deze units bouw je met lo e onderdelen die je doorheen het spel kan verzamelen.

Dit is wat reviewer Juan Golbez over het spel te melden had:Here's where things get tricky. I personally am totally in love with the game, but then I have a strong Robotech/Battletech/Anime upbringing. It is certainly not for the squeamish, and it will require that you devote attention to it, but you will get out of RoboForge what you put into it. It is a game for those who are willing to put the effort and time into the game, and not for the casual gamer. The strong community behind RoboForge will help newbies, but that only goes so far. For the price, $19.95 (until the end of August, then it will go up to $30.00), you get a lot more game than you get with some of the other, higher-priced games out there. You just have to be willing to make use of it.
