Het grote publiek heeft op de E3 eindelijk kennis mogen maken met de nieuwe consoles en overal verschijnen nu rapporten waarin deze besproken worden. Grote nieuwkomer is daarbij natuurlijk de Xbox die nog een hoop te bewijzen heeft in de consolewereld.

Ook XGR schreef een rapport waarin wat impre ies van het systeem en de games wat verder toegelicht worden en je de nodige foto's van de showfloor kan bekijken.Not only was I impre ed with the games (which we will get into in a minute) but I really liked the feel of the controller. This is one of my main gripes about the Playstation and PS/2- the controller. Maybe it's because I wasn't "raised" on a Playstation but I have never been able to feel totally comfortable with a Sony controller. I've found it very hard to reach all the buttons without straining and after about 20-30 minutes of playing my hands hurt to the point of shutting off the machine (this could be carpel tunnel syndrome setting in but I do not get the same feeling from the Dreamcast controller which is most similiar to the one for Xbox).
