Begin vorig jaar verscheen de mooie en leuke hack & slash game The Mark of Kri in Europa. Het spel was kwalitatief in orde, maar echt een dikke hit werd het helaas niet. Toch werkt men bij Sony aan een opvolger in de vorm van Rise of the Kasia, waarmee men de grootste minpunten van het origineel hoopt weg te werken. Zo zal je als speler meer betrokken raken bij het verhaal, zal de gameplay wanneer je als Rau speelt meer op stealth leunen en zal het spel ongeveer drie keer zo lang zijn als zijn voorloper. Daarnaast kan je heel het spel cooperatief spelen, zowel online als offline:Of course, the most interesting new feature to Rise of the Kasai is the two-player co-op gameplay. But rather than limit a couple of buddies to a single screen and a halved perspective, Kasai's cooperative action is reserved for online play only. Because of this approach, team tactics and clever use of resources is the key to advancing forward and players will find themselves in few areas that don't require two characters.
