LucasArts heeft vandaag de definitieve release data bekend gemaakt voor Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords. Zoals verwacht zal het nieuwste deel uit het jedi epos in december voor de Xbox verschijnen, terwijl PC gamers vanaf februari het melkwegstelsel weer een veiligere of minder veilige plaats kunnen maken. Well, now it's official. The Xbox version of KOTOR II will indeed arrive during the holiday 2004 season. "We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," said Mike Gallo, producer of the game. "We recently completed a very important milestone, which confirmed we can confidently do this."

Eerder maakte ontwikkelaar Obsidian Entertainment overigens al bekend dat er net als bij het eerste deel geen demo voor Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords gepland staat.
