Arthur's back and he's got his towel!

Na wat gezocht hebben door al het E3 materiaal dat de grote sites geproduceerd hebben, (onze cover-up komt vanavond, don't mi it!) was ik toch eigenlijk op zoek naar iets wat niet voor de hand lag. Een game dat niet echte media-aandacht had en een beetje origineel was. Ik zocht en ik vond: Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, een arcade adventure gebaseerd op het boek van wijlen Douglas Adams.

When I asked Adam Shaikh, the lead designer, if they were planning to include some sort of tribute to Adams in the game, he became visibly upset. With tears in his eyes and a tremor in his voice, he explained that they had been working with Adams for about the past five years and his pa ing has hit them pretty hard. Its still too recent and raw for them to think much about. I'm almost positive that they will eventually include some sort of tribute to the man who brought so much laughter to so many of us and taught us a great le on: "Don't Panic!" Ik ben natuurlijk een bevooroordeelde fan van Adams, maar qua graphics ziet HGTTG er zeer goed uit en als ze de humor van het originele boek kunnen behouden (Adams werkte immers al 5 jaar mee met de lead designer van dit spel) dan zie ik dit wel een leuk spel worden.
