PC.IGN heeft een preview gepublished over Ghost Recon. Ze gingen hiervoor een dagje naar de studio's van Redstorm.Ghost Recon is Redstorm Entertainment's derde spel in de Rainbow Six serie maar is toch wel anders omdat het meer militair gericht is in plaats van counter-terrorism.This game is part of the Rainbow Six legacy but isn't exactly part of the series. It's still an ultra-realistic tactical action game but gamers can expect a lot more out of this game than previous releases. Darren explains there are three major differences. First off, the game takes place almost entirely out of doors. Second, the old planning interface has been done away with entirely in favor of a more immediate and intuitive command screen within the game itself. A small roleplaying element has also been added to further differentiate the members of your squad. Numerous AI improvements, changes in mi ion design and a substantial improvement in graphics will also set the title apart from its predece ors.

Na een lange tijd wachten kunnen de Rainbow Six fans straks hun lol weer op, en het blijft niet alleen bij Ghost Recon, ook Black Thorn staat in de planning en dat wordt Rogue Spear's allerlaatste addon.
