Ontwikkelaar Wargaming.net (Ma ive A ault) en de Ru ische uitgever Akella hebben de handen ineen geslagen voor de ontwikkeling van Inhabited Island, een strategische game gebaseerd op het gelijknamige science-fiction boek (ook bekend als Prisoner of Power) van de gebroeders Strugatsky. Het verhaal achter het spel gaat als volgt:The story unfolds, after Maxim destroyed the Center (Central Broadcast Station) and the Land of Fathers army was defeated in the North. Having lost effect of mind control transmi ions, the most part of inhabitants faced collective hangover and fell into state, similar to coma. The Khontis seized the opportunity and attacked the country from the north. In this situation violence is the only way to settle the conflict down and stop the war.

Je zult overigens nog even geduld moeten hebben voordat Inhabited Island in de schappen ligt. De release staat namelijk geplanned voor het eerste kwartaal van 2007.
