Het bijzondere aan de Panasonic Handheld is dat deze gebruik maakt van de Bluetooth techniek. Dit is een nieuwe techniek die draadloos op een korte afstand, maar met grote snelheid data over kan zenden. Ééntje om in de gaten te houden dus!Panasonic also announced a handheld in the works, but we know little to nothing about what it might offer. All we know at this point is that the handheld will use Bluetooth technology. Interestingly, Bluetooth technology will also be used in the Wirele Wavebird controller for the Nintendo Gamecube. Bluetooth is a new short-range wirele technology that will let a variety of electronic components speak to each other, eventually leading to such uses as detecting when a new device is brought into range and beginning transmi ion of information to that device. In the case of the Panasonic handheld, that might mean wirele communication with a hub for multiplayer games (it sounds similar to the wirele gameplay of the GP32).
