The Duke has employed these relatively inexpensive units on countle planets for recon mi ions and light raids. With only a light cannon for anti-infantry work and thin armor, its main means of protection is speed. Most Sand Bike pilots do not want to be caught deep into enemy territory when the heavy fighting breaks out.
