Er zullen mogelijkheden komen om games te downen en online te spelen, te chatten, e-mailen en veel informatie op te vragen.Octane today announced that EA.com, a division of Electronic Arts, has selected Octane as the customer care standard for its forthcoming gaming site, EA.com. Electronic Arts will use Octane 2000 to provide EA.com's customers with service over numerous channels including the web, e-mail, chat and telephone. EA.com, which plans to launch its site in mid-2000, is expected to be one of the largest gaming sites on the Internet. The site will provide a variety of content and services including the ability to download and run games, find online opponents, obtain game-related information, and join chat. Octane 2000 will power the site's online support options for both game-related and technical support. Customers will be able to use a web self-service feature to search against the same Octane database internal service agents will utilize. If the user does not find an answer, he or she will be able to communicate with the service center through chat, e-mail or phone. Service agents will have a single, complete view of all users' history with EA.com so that users will not have to repeat questions or experience any disruption in service when switching between communication methods.
