Naast XIII ontwikkeld Ubisoft ook nog een ander spel dat draait op de Unreal Engine, zijnde Splinter Cell, een Metal Gear Solid achtige sneak-shooter waarbij je vooral met voorzichtig doen je doel kan bereiken. Het spel is gebaseerd op een boek van Tom Clancy maar zal niet echt aansluiten bij de Rainbow Six of Ghost Recon reeks. Het is dan ook een third-person aangelegenheid.
