The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reports that Sega will begin

selling Dreamcasts in India next month. The company

plans to position the Dreamcast as a low-cost way to

access the Internet; units are expected to sell for the

equivalent of $364-$455.

New Delhi's SPA Enterprises will sell the Dreamcasts

and software, as well as develop Internet operations

including e-commerce services.

Sega is reportedly aiming for first-year sales of 120,000 units in India, and more than 1 million units by the end of 2002. Een soort ontwikkelingshulp, alleen dan anders

Hulde aan Sega
