Het is vrij stil geweest rondom de US Army shooter America's Army, maar de stilte is eindelijk doorbroken. Er is namelijk een nieuwe beta patch verschenen. Er wordt echter aangeraden de patch NIET te downloaden. Zo zijn er nog geen servers die deze versie ondersteunen en moet je uiteindelijk America's Army opnieuw installeren. De officiele 1.6 update wordt binnenkort verwacht. Welke verbeteringen deze versie zal bevatten is niet helemaal duidelijk. Op de fora van AA wordt onder andere gesproken over anti-cheat maatregelen. Honor. Integrity. Teamwork. Those are just three of the values that guide every U.S. Soldier.

As a part of this values laden organization, Soldiers enjoy a very high public trust. Soldiers are expected to embody the highest standards of integrity to earn this public trust and the trust of other Soldiers that is vital to succe in military operations.

This same adherence to values results in succe for America's Army game players as well. Just as cheating ruins organizations, it also ruins games such as America's Army.

The Army wants all of its virtual Soldiers to have the best online experience po ible and to ensure this we've taken a few steps to make sure that cheaters cannot ruin your gameplay.
