Blizzard heeft aangekondigd dat er een Expansion Set voor Diablo 2 komt. De gamer zal het verhaal oppakken waar Diablo 2 eindigde en dus "the path of Baal" gaan volgen.
In deze expansion set zullen er 2 nieuwe characters (die je ook kan gaan gebruiken in de originele game) zijn, meer monsters en veel, veel meer nieuwe wapens, armors en magische hebbedingetjes...
Blizzard Entertainment has announced plans for the Diablo II Expansion Set. In the add-on, gamers will follow the path of Baal, the last of the prime evils, into the Barbarian Highlands of the north. Traveling with hordes of demonic minions, Baal intends to corrupt the powerful worldstone that protects the mortal plane from the forces of hell. People will face a new series of quests to prevent the minions of the underworld from demolishing the world. Diablo II Expansion Set is being developed at Blizzard and is expected to be released in the first half of 2001. Features include:
- Two new character cla es--the A a in and the Druid--each with 30 unique spells
- One new act set in the Barbarian Highlands
- Control the new character cla es through the original four acts
- Additional monsters, including bo es and uniques
- Siege towers and fortified battlements
- Thousands of new weapons, armor and magical items, including cla -specific quest items
- Additional recipes for the Horadric Cube
- Increased storage space in the stashHave fun... in 2001...
