Er zijn eigenlijk weinig Western spellen op de PC, te weinig misschien ?. In elk geval kan er aan het kleine rijtje weer een naam worden toegevoegd, Desperados van Infogrames. At the Infogrames' Editor's Day today (what, you thought we were getting all these Infogrames screens purely by chance?) we managed to stumble upon a brand new title sure to please fans of games like Commandos.Desperados puts you in the shoes of legendary western hero John Cooper and his team as they take on the ultra-villain El Diablo (not to be confused with Diablo, who resides a little farther south).

The look is crispy and beautiful, and you can expect a wild variety of environments, such as thunderstorms, large towns, villages, fortresses, gold mines, cotton fields, swamps, camps, saloons, jails, steamboat, waterfalls, caves… you get the picture.

There are over 35 in-game civilians and animals to interact with, as well as 25 enemies, each with individual profiles. And don't worry -- you'll be able

to live out a full set of wild west dreams, such as train robberies, knife throwing, bar brawling, dynamite explosions, and of course, rattlesnake bites.

En inderdaad, het heeft wel wat weg van Commandos.

Desperados, Gringos.....en wat slechte achtergrondmuziek en je bent klaar
