Dungeon Lords is een nieuwe RPG van ontwikkelaar Heuristic Park, de ontwikkelaar die eerder Wizzards & Warriors op haar naam schreef. Dungeon Lords hoopt zowel de diepte en epische proporties van een RPG als de vlotte besturing van een First Person Shooter in zich te verenigen. Met de vandaag vrijgegeven demo kun je proberen of dit gelukt is.

Aan de inhoud van de demo zal het alvast niet liggen, want je kunt zowel het single- als multiplayergedeelte aan de tand voelen. Je kunt zowel spelen als een Human, Argot of Sylvan. Het spel begint buiten de stad Fargrove. Vervolgens zal je via het riool van deze stad naar het theater gaan, waar je een gevecht aan gaat met de Goblin Mage. De demo kent wel een paar gebreken, waaronder dat hij het niet meer doet nadat je met een Alt-Tab terug naar Windows bent gegaan. To Exit the demo, pre ESC then select QUIT.

To save the game, pre ESC to bring up the save menu.

While in multiplayer, pre ing ESC will exit the player from the game.

In most cases, pre ing the SPACE BAR will close dialog or menu screens.

There is a minor graphic i ue concerning dual wielding of light weapons where sometimes light weapons can be equipped but will not appear in-game. This does not affect gameplay.

In order to enter the Sewers, you must speak to Scorch the Goblin who appears in the bushes to the left of the Gate Guard. In certain rare cases, he may not appear. If this happens, restart the game.

There is a known i ue with some of the lower save game slots causing corruption of save data. TO avoid this problem, please avoid using the last 3 save slots.
