Gone Gold heeft ook gelijk een korte eerste impre ie van de game online gezet (Novalogic was zo aardig om ze alvast een exemplaar te geven gisteren) en de schrijver hiervan is heeel erg positief. Opvallend positief zelfs. Té opvallend eigenlijk .The graphics are absolutely stunning, with Helicopter rides taking you out to the mi ion drop off zone, smooth hills and valleys, blood splatter... it's all here. There is a slight problem with hills looking "odd" when you're moving (They kind of wobble a bit.) and clipping (Cap a perp and see his head cutting into the wall.) but very small nits to pick. Over all, the game is very pretty.
The gameplay is basically the same, with some changes to the campaign. Now you'll have 5 heroes to choose from, each with their own special abilities (Sniper, Demolitions, Close Quarters Battle, Aquatics, and Heavy Gunner.) and you'll choose who goes best with the mi ion at hand. You can finally save your mi ion at any point which is a VERY welcome feature. It works very well within the interface too.
Where the game shines is of course, on NovaWorld. Last night I joined a quick game and knew I better get out after a few kills or I wouldn't go to bed. Climbing Ladders and sniping off the taller building is incredible fun and the maps were fantastic.
