Tot nu toe zijn er al heel wat mooie screenshots verschenen van C&C: Generals, beelden zeggen echter meer dan woorden.

Op Statikvision zijn 12 filmpjes van de E3 presentatie van C&C: Generalis verschenen. De filmpjes laten verschillende onderdelen zien van de gameplay, een paar simpele units die een grote tank uitschakelen bijvoorbeeld. Indrukwekkender zijn de filmpjes van een nuke die een basis uitschakelt en een buggy die dam opblaast.

De nuke veroorzaakt eerst een schokgolf die alle bomen wegblaast, gelijk daarachter ontstaat een heldere bol die het scherm verblind. Als er weer wat te zien is verschijnt de mooiste paddestoelwolk ooit in een RTS game.

Beide filmpjes laten een onvoorstelbaar detail zien en zijn een must-see ! Gamespy wist het op de volgende manier te beschrijven:

The camera pans over to the dam as a lone buggy speeds toward it and a little GLA voice saying "I will make them pay." A few rockets later and the dam is destroyed, sending a torrent of water rushing down river toward the bridge and the fishing village. This begins what is to be an awesome visual finale to the show. A little air-to-air combat Skaggs zeroed in on the bridge and fishing village as they are totally swept away by the raging torrents. He even tracks a couple of fleeing vehicles before they, too, are crushed by the wall of water. The movement of the water looks extremely realistic as it settles. You can peer through the water and see the remains of the village and the bridge that were swept away.

"Well, it looks like the Chinese general is not very happy with the GLA right now," Skaggs said. "Time to launch the nuke. They must all die." Targeting the center of the GLA base, the nuke is away. What we see next is probably the most realistic nuclear explosion ever seen in RTS gameplay. The mushroom cloud rises and the resulting shockwave bends trees outwards. The base disappears in the explosion and the scenario comes to an end.
