Er zijn nog geen berichten of er ook wat gaat veranderen aan de huidige sites.CNET, an Internet company providing technology product information, news and television programming, will gain Ziff-Davis' busine -to-consumer technology publication and Web site, online property ZDNet and Smart Planet, an online educational service, the Journal said.Under terms of the deal, CNET will exchange 0.59 of a share for each of Ziff-Davis' 85 million shares, the newspaper reported.The transaction will be accounted for through purchase accounting and should close in the fourth quarter, the Journal said.Softbank Corp. of Japan, which owns more than 50 percent of New York-based Ziff-Davis, will own a 17 percent stake in the combined company and supports the transaction, the companies told the Journal.
