Classic: Crusader: no remorse | Gamer.nl

No Man's Sky uitgebracht.

Jaja, Retro is in!

The objective in Crusader was simple: kill anything that moved, and stay alive. Of course, that's simplified quite a bit; you had various mi ion objectives such as rescuing resistance prisoners, bombing targets, and the like, but in the proce of completing these objectives, you typically ran into a ton of opposition. This opposition came in WEC guards (who typically wielded any weapon that you yourself could carry), defense robots, and booby traps. Crusader was also one of the few games in which you were actually rewarded for killing the civilians (your reward, of course, was the fact that they wouldn't be able to go sound an alarm).

So what made the mercile killing so rewarding? The weapons, of course! Crusader had, hands down, some of the coolest weapons in a game to date. While you had the standard stuff such as machine-guns and rocket launchers, there were also such exotic weapons as laser guns, freeze rays, plasma rifles and other such fun guns. Some of these weapons had some really cool effects on enemies too, such as freezing, melting the skin, and exploding their corpses. Gooey!
