En dit terwijl de game nog niet eens uit is. Het geval wil dat Capcom na het uitbrengen van de single player en multi player demo's van Lost Planet goed heeft geluisterd naar de wensen van de gamers en als gevolg hiervan heeft besloten veel van de fouten te verhelpen voordat de game uitkomt. Een gedeelte van de i ues zal al verholpen zijn voordat de game uitkomt en een gedeelte zal via een patch verholpen worden die tijdens de launch beschikbaar wordt gemaakt.

Zo zal onder andere de ingame text in multiplayer matches worden gewijzigd, zodat deze ook op SD (non HD) televisies kan worden gelezen. Naast de demo's van Lost Planet was de kleine text ook al een probleem in de game Dead Rising.
