Alweer adventure-nieuws op Gamers.nl. Had Bob het over een preview van Monkey Island 4. Kom ik met het bericht dat Revolution Software volgende jaar deel drie van Broken Sword wil uitgeven. Dit is natuurlijk goed nieuws voor de vele adventure-fans onderons. Alleen is het te hopen dat Sierra het licht weer vindt en ook weer adventure games gaat ontwikkelen.Will there be a Broken Sword 3?

We are delighted by the continued interest in the Broken Sword series, and in the po ibility of Broken Sword 3 in particular. We have no interest in simply churning out another game in the series, so have taken a break while we evaluate how best to drive the whole genre forward. We would aim to start the Broken Sword 3 project later this year and finish next year - beyond that, we have no firm plans! We have been approached by a cartoon production house who have expre ed a great interest in producing a cartoon of the series and if this were to go ahead then the game and the cartoon series would be written together and would have areas of narrative that overlapped.
