Dat er verschillende patches zouden komen voor Black and White was al duidelijk in April maar de planning is eergisteren bekend gemaakt door Lionhead. Dit hebben wij helaas niet gepost op Gamers.nl dus daarom nogmaals:26th June 2001 - 3 brand new Multiplayer maps available.

29th June 2001 – Out-takes from the Black & White recording se ions available to download online. Hear the Advisors as never before!

2nd July 2001 – Black & White Music Interface available. Play MP3s and control WinAmp from within the game and enable your Creature to recognise and respond to your favourite tunes or sound-files. (Subject to official patch being released)

9th July 2001 – Villager speech (banter) available. Hear the previously secret, innermost thoughts of your tribes' people.

20th July 2001 – Black & White chat facility. This chat function will enable you to send and receive me ages from within Black & White. (Subject to official patch being released)

6th August 2001 – Soccer. Enable your villagers to play matches against other tribes. (Subject to official patch being released)Er zitten hele leuke patches bij, vooral de laatste waarin je kunt voetballen tegen andere volkeren. Je kunt de patches downloaden van BWGame.com en ze zijn helemaal gratis. Dit was al ouder nieuws (voordat jullie klagen) maar iets nieuwer is het feit dat FGN Online een interview had met directeur Mark Webley van Lionhead Studios. Uit het interview blijkt dat Black and White vaker add-ons gaat krijgen en dat deze helemaal gratis zijn aangezien Lionhead al blij genoeg is dat de game door veel mensen is gekocht. Dit zijn nog eens initiatieven waar wij blij mee zijn, dát zouden meer ontwikkelaars moeten doen!
