[matt] Well apart from more polygons, it would be nice someday to introduce per polygon collision and an easy to set up IK system to work with it. That sure would be nice....[trenches] Do you think game developers will start moving over to Maya rather than using 3D Studio Max for the mesh's since it's supposed to be easier for high polygon models? [matt] That I couldn't say. I've seen the demos for Maya but haven't actually had the opportunity to play with it myself. It does look hella easier and more intuitive, but I can't really say for certain. You have to also take into consideration the price of the package.
