Voor de ouwetjes onder ons komt er een game gebasseerd op de jaren 70 serie 'Starsky and Hutch'. De jongeren kunnen hun ouders misschien hiermee wat meer voor games laten interesseren?Following SouthPeak Interactive's recent announcement of its Dukes of Hazzard PC game comes another game based on a 1970s TV show. This morning, Empire Interactive said that it has signed an agreement with Sony Pictures to publish a game based on Starsky and Hutch for the PC and "next generation" consoles. Starsky and Hutch aired from 1975 to 1979 on ABC, and starred David Soul as the well-educated Hutch and Paul Glaser as the street-wise Starsky. The two drove around in a 1974 Ford Gran Torino, chasing bad guys, fighting crime, and solving mysteries. "Starsky and Hutch has to be one of the most well-known TV shows of all time, and it's an ideal property on which to develop a game, so we are absolutely delighted to have secured the worldwide interactive publishing rights," said Empire managing director Ian Higgins. "The brand is hugely recognizable in all of our key global markets, and the marketing possibilities are limitless."Volgend jaar moet de game in de winkels liggen voor de PC en de next-generation consoles.
