In het spel neem je de rol aan van een slaaf die in opstand komt tegen de Romeinste slavendrijvers. Men heeft ook enkele RPG elementen in het spel gestopt zoals het verbeteren van de skills van je karakter zodat je meer vechttruukjes kan aanleren en sterken kan worden.You play the part of a Roman slave who rises up to fight the good fight against the evil Roman oppre ors. In the video we were shown it looked like the game includes a lot of hacking and slashing, with multiple adversaries coming in from all directions. The game is said to contain multiple weapons and fighting styles, and the fights will take place in and outside of arenas. In the game's campaign, players will take on an a ortment of mi ions that have a variety of different objectives. Along the way, players will improve their character's skill set by learning new moves and gaining strength. At the end of some levels, players will have to face large bo characters.Als we GameSpot mogen geloven zag I, Gladiator er alvast indrukwekkend uit en dat terwijl het spel nog heel wat maanden ontwikkeling voor de boeg heeft. Het spel wordt door Acclaim Manchester ontwikkeld en zal op PS2, Xbox en Gamecube verschijnen. De eerste screenshots die hier te vinden zijn mogen er alvast wezen.
