Sony houdt net als vorig jaar geen persconferentie. De line-up van Sony legt dit jaar de focus op PlayStation VR. In totaal zijn er zeventien titels speelbaar voor de virtualrealityheadset tijdens het evenement. Daarnaast zijn zwaargewichten als Gran Turismo Sport, Titanfall 2 en Destiny: Rise of Iron ook speelbaar.
Gamescom gaat volgende week woensdag op 17 augustus van start en duurt tot zondag 21 augustus. De volledige line-up van Sony is hieronder te zien.
