De jongens van EvilAvatar hebben al 4 weken lang Soldier of Fortune 2 multiplayer gespeeld. Binnenkort zal deze demo ook voor het grote publiek te spelen zijn, maar toch wil men het plezier van SoF 2 MP alvast ons delen. Toen SoF 2 werd aangekondigd leek het geen multiplayer onderdeel te bevatten, maar een aantal maanden later bleek dit niet het geval te zijn. Standaard zal Sof2 de volgende modes bevatten: Free For All Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Elimination, Infiltration en meer.Maps:The demo version will have a map named "The Shop" This is the Headquarters for the Group that John Mullins works for. I will explain the infiltration game type for you since the Team DM, and DM is so self-explanatory. That Map has two levels of engagement, the roof and the main floor of the building. The object of the map is for the infiltration force to take the briefcase away from the defenders and bring it back to the extraction point. The extraction point of the map is on the roof where a helicopter is waiting for the exchange of the case. The Defenders start out in the main floor just a short distance from where the case is located. De gameplay van Soldier of Fortune 2 is niet revolutionair, maar wel oerdegelijk. Volgens EA is dit een first person shooter op zijn best die ook intere ant is voor gamers die niet van "realistische" shooters houden.
