Het idee van QuakePong is dus eigenlijk voetbal maar dan met een supergrote bal. Je schiet de bal weg (kan het beste met een railgun of super shotgun gedaan worden), en probeert hem in het doel van de tegenstander te krijgen. Een heel doeltreffende manier om ook je tegenstanders uit te schakelen is ze te pletten met de bal. Als je daar namelijk mee aangeraakt word is het nano-death. Vooral een lachwekkend spel dus, maar zeker de moeite waard om eens te proberen. Intu en zijn er alweer 17 servers over de hele wereld Between two and four teams face off in a giant arena, reminiscient of a Pinball table. Each team has a goal. For each team playing, a gigantic (bigger than your player) steel ball is dropped into the middle. Each team tries to roll the ball into the other team's goal. However, the ball is extremely ma ive.
[...]Anyway, back to the goals. Each time you roll a ball into your opponent's goal, you score on them. Each team starts with a certain number of points (5 is the default). Each time you score on a team, you lower their score by 1. Once a team reaches zero, they are eliminated, and are forced to become observers (or they can hop onto another team and play).
To make things interesting, some levels include Pinball flippers around the goals, to deflect the ball. The ball uses totally realistic physics - it rolls according to the laws of friction and motion. Send two balls into each other and momentum is transfered. Balls roll down hills at an increasing rate.

Geen bot-ondersteuning (tot nu toe?) en onder pointrelease 1.25 werkte het bij mij niet, wel onder 1.17.
