Er is een beta verschenen van de Quake 3 mod 'Flagmatch'. Hierbij verschijnt er random in het level een vlag die zo snel mogelijk door beide teams gevonden moet worden waarna er weer een nieuwe vlag verschijnt.The folks at Alliance Games have been responsible for a few Quake mods in the past. Their most recent is Flagmatch. In this mod there is only one flag which spawns in a preset location near the center of the map. Every time a player touches the flag their team scores a point. The flag will then despawn for 30 seconds. So the object is to hold the area around the flag for the longest amount of time. Similar to Domination in Unreal Tournament.
