Ininity Ward heeft laten weten dat het werkt aan een update werkt voor Call of Duty 2 voor de Xbox 360. Met deze update zal een groot aantal functies toegevoegd worden aan de momenteel nogal magere online mode. Hiermee laat IW zien dat het luistert naar de fans die alweer een paar maanden zitten te wachten op een verbetering van de online game. Een datum is overigens nog niet vastgesteld.
Momenteel is het alleen mogelijk in random maps te spelen, met een aantal door IW vastgestelde variabelen. Aangenomen wordt dat de haast om de game bij de launch van de Xbox 360 op de markt te brengen de reden is voor de schamele online opties. As you recall, we announced plans that we were working on our second Title Update for Call of Duty 2, improving the Xbox Live multiplayer functionality. We're happy to report that this update is currently in the final stages of testing and all is going well. In fact, we will be releasing it soon, so stay tuned.
