The plaintiff, Joey Roccaforte, a man who had his first seizure after playing a Nintendo game, received no damages. Every console title includes warnings about epileptic seizures, usually found in the instruction manual, but sometimes on a separate insert in the product's packaging. According to mmWire, Jury foreman William West said Roccafortee continued to play the games after he was diagnosed with epilepsy and after his family had sued Nintendo.
