Een tijd geleden hadden we jullie gemeld dat het spel Decay gecancelled was, omdat de producers met een nieuw spel gestart waren, genaamd New World Order. Er was nog weinig bekend over New World Order, maar de screenshots die toendertijd waren released spraken boekdelen. Dit spel gaat roelen!

New World Order is een team based multiplayer game die zich afspeelt in zeer realistische omgevingen. De graphics zoals jullie zien zijn erg goed te noemen en Termite Games beloofd dat het met tragere systemen ook erg goed te spelen is.These shots are taken from a new 'Sweden-level' that we are working on for the game. They depict a typical Swedish small town, and you will get to battle it out here! We are keeping the world geometry polygon-count pretty low on purpose since we are doing a multiplayer primarily game. The game will work just fine on previous generation 3D-cards because of this. The player models, special effects, particle systems and such are automatically adjusted to match your hardware, so this is how we can support such a wide range of hardware. These shots are taken with a Matrox G400 card. The game runs at 40-70 FPS on average at 1024x768 32bit screendepth and 32bit textures with this card. The quality we could reach if we only had to support the GeForce, as the baseline, is truly amazing.

Expect very high resolution player models and special effects with the GeForce with HW T&L and a generally higher geometry throughput. Damn, we are really excited over here! The game is starting to look soooo good.
