Persoonlijk kijk ik erg uit naar Broken Sword 3. Adventure games zijn al schaars, laat staan adventure games die zich afspelen in een eigentijdse wereld. De titel Broken Sword van onze vrienden van Revolution Software kwam in me op toen ik het spel Mystery of the Druids van het Duitse CDV Software zag. Dit kwam vooral door de realistische omgeving waarin het spel zich afspeeltCDV Software has revealed Mystery of the Druids, its upcoming adventure game based on ancient druidic legends. The game takes players on a journey through time to investigate a mysterious murder. Players a ume the role of Scotland Yard detective Brent Halligan, who uncovers information indicating a ritual murder. Through his discu ions with an anthropologist named Dr. Turner, Halligan finds clues linking a druidic order to the crime. The pair soon discover a dangerous plot to complete an ancient ritual using a powerful rune-inscribed staff. To succeed in their mi ion, Halligan and Turner must travel back in time to the year A.D. 1000 to stop the initial preparations for the ritual.

Het spel zal later dit jaar het levenslicht zien in Duitsland. De release datum van de Engelse versie is nog niet bekend. Maar dat deert ons weinig, Duits is immers bijna hetzelfde als Nederlands, niet?
