Hoewel het eigenlijk allang bekend was komt Microsoft nu ineens met een nieuw bericht naar buiten over dat de Nederlander JunkieXL de soundtrack van Quantum Redshift gaat verzorgen, een spel dat in September op de markt zou moeten verschijnen voor de Xbox. Momenteel verwerft JunkieXL veel internationale bekendheid met zijn nummer 1 notering in Engeland met zijn remix van A Little Le Conversation van de XXL Junkie en King of Rock & Roll Elvis Presley.Microsoft has announced that Dutch music act Junkie XL will be producing the music for the futuristic Xbox racing game Quantum Redshift. The 16 tracks will all be original compositions, and they will change depending on what's happening in the race. In addition, Quantum Redshift will have full support for Dolby 5.1 audio. Quantum Redshift is set 100 years in the future. Players will have to race on all sorts of terrain against multiple opponents, including a nemesis driver who will have some involvement in a particular driver's storyline.
