Tegenwoordig heeft de uitgever Infogrames de rechten op de naam Atari, en op de een of andere manier denkt het bedrijf dat hun games beter verkopen als ze er Atari opzetten. Kijk dus niet gek op als je bij de aanschaf van je nieuwe games de naam Atari een aantal maal zal zien terugkomen. Zo zullen onder andere de doosjes van MX Rider, Splashdown en Transworld Surf vergezeld gaan met de naam Atari.Anyone who can legitimately call themselves a gamer is aware of the Atari name. Well, no more. Infogrames owns the Atari name now, and is bringing back the brand with a bang. Three new titles are coming out of the gate with the Atari name on the front, and they promise to have loads of the twitch-heavy dollops of fun that the old-school games brought to the table.
