id Software heeft verschillende websites het bericht gestuurd dat ze het Doom 3 soundpack van Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) moeten verwijderen. Oorspronkelijk zou Trent de "muzikale omgeving" van Doom 3 doen, maar vanwege "tijd, geld en slecht management" ging de samenwerking niet door. Played a few levels and I definitely like some of the ideas he had. The sound of the spawning monsters is much more powerful and the ambient sounds of tapping feet are fucking great. The only sound that's kind of off is the chaingun sfx. Well, we're talking about one smallish 8MB pak file; download the thing and hear it for yourself.
