Gamecenter heeft een Top 10 gemaakt van de slechtste spellen die ooit zijn gemaakt. Voor de mensen bij wie dit gelijk een (slechte) herinnering aan "Daikatana" doet herleven is er goed nieuws. Omdat Gamecenter het zinloos vind om tegen een al totaal afgekraakt spel aan te trappen hebben ze deze titel niet mee laten doen. Een nummer 1 is echter wel een verra ing voor mij : Frogger 3DWhat is it? Frogger gone 3D. Rendered graphics and larger levels made for a new spin on the arcade cla ic. This update was one of the top-selling PC games for 1998. Unfortunately, it is also one of the worst games in recent memory. Why it failed: Frogger still stands as one of the greatest games of all time, and many generations have at one time or another been addicted to navigating the nimble amphibian acro traffic and swamps. The idea of modernizing the graphics and gameplay doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Why bother when the original is still addictive and fun to this day? With poor execution, this "update" had "out to make a quick buck" written all over it. The 3D-accelerated graphics were hardly impre ive (and barely worked on most systems), and an awkward camera ruined the platform-game-like action.

But proving once again that people are idiots, the game sold in huge numbers. Perhaps it was the half-baked nostalgia for days gone by of putting quarters on a machine to reserve "next game," but this game had no redeeming value. And that's why Frogger 3D is the worst game of all time--Hasbro exploited our nostalgia and suckered in millions of gamers in the proce . The only compelling reason to pick up this game is to understand the violation of this cla ic franchise, and share in our pain.

Zo'n slecht spel vond ik het nog geen eens, maar das natuurlijk voor iedereen persoonlijk. Mi chien heeft de maker van deze top 10 gewoon een hekel aan kikkers
