It went gold sometime on June 20, 2000 and has been approved by Activision for replication and manufacturing. The title is currently expected to ship on June 27th and should hit store shelves shortly thereafter in a simultaneous worldwide release.In speaking with Greg Borrud, project director for Dark Reign 2 at Pandemic Studios, the team is very pleased to see the product of what they have been working on since November of 1997. Developed from the ground-up, spending the first 9 months solely on the engine, Dark Reign 2 has shaped up to become a real contender in the real-time strategy market.
