Nog niet zolang geleden was er bijna dagelijks nieuws over Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Gearbox's nieuwste game. Het is echter al geruime tijd stil rondom deze shooter, die naar het nu blijkt naar 2003 wordt verschoven. Verschillende Amerikaanse winkels hebben hun releasedates aangepast. De data verschillen van februari tot mei en juni, maar het spel is duidelijk nog niet klaar. Features

- Amazing Depth. Six story-driven single player episodes, three different single player game modes, 75 different scenarios, and a total of 225 objectives.
- New Mi ions and Environments. New mi ions are set in realistic locations all over the world and can be played from the counter-terrorist's perspective, enabling gamers to fight the spread of terrorism.
- New Weapons. New weapons and items including: M60 guns, LAW Rocket Launcher, Ballistic Shield and Pistol, Molotov cocktail, gas mask, and flares.
- Enhanced Multiplayer. Each of the new weapons and maps can be played in both single player and multiplayer modes. In game voice-capability and spectator mode are also included. Het is nu wachten op een reactie van Gearbox, maar het ziet er niet rooskleurig uit. Gelukkig voor de fans komt binnenkort versie 1.6 van CS uit en kan men zich daarmee vermaken.
