Na veel uitstel (wat we uiteraard al verwachtten na alle uitstellen van het spel ) is de nieuwe datum voor de Black&White patch vastgesteld: 31 mei. Lionhead is happy to announce the contents of the first patch for Black and White.

This has largely been focused on bug fixes but also one or two improvements have been included.

We have fixed a number of installation related problems due to the SafeDisc protection scheme and some problems relating to cable modems. There is also the ability to play the game on LAN now without requiring multiple copies of the game to be purchased.

This patch will be available for download on 31st May. De nieuwe patch (v1.01) heeft een hele leuke stapel nieuwe improvements, waarvan mijn favoriete is dat je eindelijk de tutorials kan overslaan. Je krijgt dan vier opties:

Gewoon het spel starten (met tutorials dus)

De basic tutorials overslaan en meteen je creature kiezen

Je oude creature behouden, en dan eventuele quests (en de grote beer) doen

Je oude creature behouden en alles overslaan, je krijgt dan meteen de vortex naar land 2.
